Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Juvenile Corrections Security Officer - Unarmed in Columbia, SC. You will serve and safeguard clients across government locations, manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity and contribute to a welcoming, secure environment for staff and visitors.

This full-time, hourly position offers $17.00 per hour with day/evening shifts. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months of security experience, HS diploma or equivalent, and background

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by following site security procedures.
Monitor and control access by verifying IDs and directing individuals per procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document events.
Conduct patrols of assigned areas and maintain logs and records per site procedures.
Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
