Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in dietetics, food management, culinary arts, or hospitality management.
• Four years supervisory experience in food preparation/serving in quantity.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of quality food production and service.
• Provide nutritionally adequate meals meeting Federal Child Nutrition Program patterns and dietary standards.
• Follow procedures for efficient food production and service and verify inventory and storage.
• Train staff on equipment use, food quality, and state sanitation regulations.
• Create department schedules and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Lead staff meetings and trainings; provide direct supervision to kitchen staff.
