Job summary

Outreach Center for Community Resources in Scranton, PA seeks a Juvenile Case Manager to support youths with criminal records through the justice system and reintegration. You will work in correctional facilities and community settings, delivering comprehensive case management for rehabilitation and skill-building.

The role requires strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration with families, probation, and service partners. Flexible hours and a mission-driven environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Proven experience working with juveniles in the criminal justice system or related social services.
• Knowledge of juvenile justice laws, probation procedures, and community resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with youths, families and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess juveniles to develop individualized case management plans.
• Provide case management, mentoring and support to address emotional and behavioral issues.
• Advocate for juveniles' rights within the justice system and with community resources.
• Facilitate life skills, vocational training, education and job-readiness programs.
• Monitor progress and compliance with court-ordered requirements.
• Maintain accurate case records and progress notes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work / Psychology / Criminal Justice
