Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services (preferably social work or counseling) and two years of related experience.
• Annual physical form confirming no contagion and required clearances (Act 168, FBI, PA).
• Proven ability to work within a team and navigate educational, child welfare, and judicial systems.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues, ensure stability, and support positive youth development and academics.
• Provide service linkages for family members and collaborate with school counselors.
• Collect academic records and communicate with teachers to gather information.
• Develop and monitor an academic support plan with the school counselor.
• Coordinate with caregivers to attend school meetings and function events.
• Advocate for child educational needs and connect families to resources.
• Assist in post-secondary planning for older youth.
• Maintain case documentation and report progress to DHS/court personnel.
