Job summary

The Division of Administrative Services/Justice and Community Services (DAS/JCS) in West Virginia seeks an entry-level Justice Grants and Program Analyst 1 to oversee grant-in-aid programs and coordinate with advisory committees.

You will review sub-grant applications, evaluate goals, and develop comprehensive monitoring reports, with on-site and off-site oversight to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Preference will be given to individuals with a major/minor in criminal justice, political science, social sciences, mathematics, statistics, planning, management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review sub-grant applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate proposed goals and objectives to establish clear metrics for measurement and evaluation.
• Develop and update sub-grant monitoring reports covering all administrative facets of grant oversight.
• Perform on-site and off-site monitoring of funded grant activities and ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
