The Division of Administrative Services/Justice and Community Services (DAS/JCS) is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to fill the role of Justice Grants and Program Analyst 1.
Operating under the close supervision of a Justice Grants Manager, this entry-level professional will oversee one or more federal or state grant-in-aid programs, which includes coordinating directly with associated advisory committees and work groups.
In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for reviewing sub-grant applications to ensure completeness and accuracy, while evaluating proposed goals and objectives to establish clear metrics for measurement and evaluation. Additionally, the candidate will develop and update comprehensive sub-grant monitoring reports that cover all administrative facets of grant oversight.
A core component of this position involves both on-site and off-site monitoring of funded grant activities. Through continuous financial and programmatic oversight, the Analyst will ensure that participating facilities and programs operate safely, with fidelity, and in full compliance with state and federal laws, requirements, conditions, and assurances—ultimately serving to protect facilities both civilly and legally. The Analyst will also perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preference will be given to individuals possessing a major or minor in criminal justice, political science, social sciences, mathematics, statistics, planning, management or related field of study.
