Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik seeks an Associate Technician for on-site maintenance of Mitsubishi 2.4 wind turbines in the US. You will follow DWT procedures, learn basic electrical and mechanical maintenance, and assist a skilled team to keep turbines running efficiently.

The role requires 1–2 years of wind energy experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. A physical exam and drug screening are required, with a typical 40-hour week and potential for weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years wind energy or electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
• Associate degree is a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driving license (NON CDL / CDL) and pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on Mitsubishi 2.4 wind turbines per DWT instructions.
• Complete relevant paperwork including work orders and checklists.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed on site.
• Assist with replacement of major turbine components and perform routine site tasks.
