Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an entry-level Environmental or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. You will assist in designing and implementing water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure under supervision.

Recent graduates will grow within a dynamic team, meet client specifications, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations while gaining exposure to fieldwork and project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years of experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
• Conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports and present to clients and industry conferences.
• Assist in creating documents and presentations using CADD, Excel, and other software.
• Participate in fieldwork supporting construction management activities and lifecycle experiences.
• Support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Operate under direct supervision to ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with regulatory standards.
