Job summary

Protection Strategies, Inc. (PSI) in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting.

You will help source, screen, and coordinate candidates for open positions and assist with HR onboarding in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree or equivalent HR/business study, 0–2 years of recruiting or HR experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or related field.
• 0–2 years in recruiting or HR (internships acceptable).
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and posting job openings on approved job boards and social media platforms.
• Support sourcing efforts using job boards, referrals, and other recruiting tools.
• Review resumes and assist with initial candidate screenings.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and updates in the ATS.
• Support compliance with hiring policies and documentation requirements.
• Assist with onboarding activities and HR administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to support hiring needs.
