Protection Strategies, Inc. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open positions.

This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who wants to learn in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with recruiters and HR teammates, assist with onboarding, and help maintain accurate candidate records in our ATS while upholding hiring policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of recruiting or HR experience (internships or relevant experience acceptable).
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow direction and take feedback constructively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and posting job openings on approved job boards and social media platforms
• Support sourcing efforts using job boards, referrals, and other recruiting tools
• Review resumes and assist with initial candidate screenings
• Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the process
• Maintain accurate candidate records and updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Support compliance with hiring policies and documentation requirements
• Assist with onboarding activities and HR administrative tasks as needed
• Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to support hiring needs

Position Overview:

The Junior Recruiter will support full-cycle recruiting efforts by assisting with sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for open positions. This role is ideal for someone early in their recruiting or HR career who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
