L.L. Blue Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer I to join a collaborative engineering team focused on developing and supporting industrial control systems and automation solutions.

This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial networks while working closely with senior engineers on project delivery. You will develop technical skills and contribute to successful startup activities and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 0-3 years of systems engineering, automation, or industrial controls experience.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, SCADA, industrial networking, and control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for project support and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, configuration, and testing of industrial control systems.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and technical reports.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Assist with requirements development, configuration management, and system validation.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and clients throughout project execution.
• Follow company engineering standards, quality processes, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Continue developing technical knowledge through hands-on project experience and training.
