Job summary

Gray Matter Systems, Llc is seeking an entry-level Control Systems Engineer I for its Launch Lab program in the United States. You will learn how industrial automation and controls are designed, programmed, tested, and supported while contributing to real customer projects.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial automation technologies while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Degree must be completed by start date and within 12 months prior to start date.
• 50–100% travel to project sites; relocation may be required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Automation Projects: assist with PLC, HMI, SCADA projects from development through startup.
• Troubleshoot & Solve Problems: help identify issues and support improvements.
• Learn by Doing: hands-on programming, commissioning, and automation learning with mentors.
• Work with Teams & Customers: participate in meetings, site visits, and customer interactions.
