Job summary

Gray Matter Systems, LLC is seeking a Control Systems Engineer I through our Launch Lab Program in the United States. This entry-level role pairs recent graduates with experienced engineers to learn how industrial automation projects are designed, programmed, tested, and supported while contributing to real customer work.

You will gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial networking, with mentorship and a structured career path from Engineer I to Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed by start date.
• GPA 2.8+ required.
• Willingness to travel 50–100% and relocate as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PLC, HMI, SCADA projects from development through startup.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems affecting automation systems.
• Learn through hands-on programming, commissioning, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with teams and customers during project meetings and site visits.
