Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various aviation programs. This full-time, on-site position requires presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD and an active Secret clearance is required.

This role is future funded and not expected to begin before September 1, 2026, with US citizenship and potential for higher clearances as needed.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of software or systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support the ECP process.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe team processes.
• Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOWs) and CDRLs.
• Develop IGCEs.
• Support technical evaluations of Contractor proposals.
