Job summary

Pace Analytical in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Systems Administrator I to provide technical support for installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and administration of PCs, servers, printers, and network services across Pace locations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/IS and 2 years of related experience; offers full-time employment with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; plus 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PC/network/server hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts, security and backup practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, document and maintain LAN systems and equipment; troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Manage user accounts, access, and passwords; create groups and computers in directory services and email.
• Install and maintain PC systems across multiple locations; tailor software deployments to user needs.
• Maintain communications between PCs and network systems; diagnose and resolve issues.
• Monitor data, voice and internet services; escalate outages and communicate to users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine information system needs and vendor options.
• Provide staff training and create written guides for non-technical users.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and inventory of hardware/software.
