Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a System Administrator to maintain secure Linux environments for a team of analysts and developers working on data science projects. The role emphasizes monitoring, performance tuning, and keeping systems compliant with federal standards.

A Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance is required. 3+ years of gov’t-focused admin experience, AWS, and scripting skills are beneficial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system administration for U.S. Government customers.
• Experience with Windows and Linux VM administration.
• Experience administering servers in AWS environments.
• Experience with system compliance and accreditation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Elastic).
• Troubleshooting issues in custom software and coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security posture of Linux computing environments for a 30-person team.
• Manage user accounts and monitor system performance and health.
• Provide insights from metrics to improve network understanding.
• Prepare for IAT Level II certification within 180 days of start date.
• Collaborate across multiple technical teams to coordinate efforts.
