Job summary
Erias Ventures seeks a System Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, large data sets, real-time systems, and management information systems. You will work solo or with a team, review and test software components, and contribute to design and performance analyses.
The role requires fourteen years of SWE experience and a TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance; sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
- Developing in AWS with managed services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
- Debug existing software and correct defects.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance standards.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications.
