Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a Systems Administrator to support IT system implementation, troubleshooting and daily operations, including monitoring and problem resolution across UNIX and Windows environments. The role requires strong Linux troubleshooting, experience with high-latency environments, and working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.

Top-Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Ten years experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work in high-latency, low-bandwidth, air-gapped environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support for day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and network components to improve reliability and performance
