Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Civil Engineering, may have EIT, and have up to 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD or Microstation and basic MS Office is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• EIT registration strongly preferred.
• Up to 1 year of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Familiarity with IBC and ASCE/ACI standards.
• Knowledge of civil/structural software and CAD tools.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine designs of less complex engineering assignments under direct supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for efficient solutions.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Create detail design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance.
• Assist drafting group in layout and detailing tasks.
