You should be a continuing student through Fall 2027, with coursework in Structural Analysis, Steel Design, and Reinforced Concrete Design; GPA 3.40+, leadership in ASCE/SEI, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Must be a continuing student enrolled through Fall 2027.
  • Senior Civil Engineering student or first-year graduate student in structural engineering.
  • Required Coursework: Structural Analysis, Steel Design, Reinforced Concrete Design.
  • Undergraduate GPA 3.40; strong performance in graduate coursework if applicable.
  • Interest in seismic analysis (West Coast) or steel design (Michigan).
  • Leadership roles or activity in ASCE/SEI or similar.
  • Work authorization to work in United States.

Responsibilities

  • Work with experienced engineers on active structural projects.
  • Apply classroom concepts to real-world structural engineering tasks.
  • Participate in mentorship and receive feedback to understand the purpose behind work.
  • Engage in a summer presentation series with engineers and firm leaders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams across offices.
