Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Atlanta and Houston offices. You will be responsible for producing structural calculations and construction-ready drawings, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and supporting project performance and profitability from day one.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and internship experience, with Revit and RAM/SAP/RISA software familiarity.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 0-1 years of structural engineering internship or co-op experience.
• Revit experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages preferred.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and others outside the project team.
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
• Review building codes to assure proper implementation in design.
• Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineers.
• Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents as well as construction.
• Produce construction ready design drawings coordinated with all disciplines to assure completeness and accuracy.
• Manage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teams.
