Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group in Houston, TX is seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to contribute to design, engineering and construction processes on real projects. You will collaborate with drafting staff, clients, and project team members, prepare preliminary designs, and review codes to ensure proper implementation. Revit experience welcome.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering degree (bachelor or graduate).
• Previous internship or co-op in construction/engineering is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and construction process tasks.
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
• Review building codes for proper implementation.
• Coordinate meetings with project team members.
• Produce structural calculations and construction drawings using Revit.
