Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to assist the design, engineering, and construction process. You will support the team with preliminary designs, code reviews, and client coordination to help prepare construction documents.

The role offers hands-on experience with Revit, interaction with multiple disciplines, and a path toward full-time opportunities after graduation. Summer 2027 start is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in Civil Engineering degree program (graduate or undergraduate).
• Previous construction or engineering internship/co-op experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist team with design, engineering, and construction processes.
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
• Review building codes to ensure correct implementation.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with project team.
• Produce structural calculations for construction documents and permits.
• Produce construction-ready design drawings using Revit and coordinate with disciplines.
