Job summary

Bowman in Houston, TX is seeking a Designer I, Structural (Oil & Gas) to join our team. The role focuses on CAD drafting and design tasks under supervision, collaborating with engineers and other designers to meet project standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred or equivalent.
• Entry level to 2 years of experience.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and analytical skills – written and verbal.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provides CAD drafting and prepares drawings from specifications and sketches.
• Coordinates with engineers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Supports engineering, design, procurement, construction and commissioning of facilities.
• Work is closely managed.
• Prepares, reviews and approves foundation, structural steel, building and earthwork BOMs.
