D.R. Horton, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Division Stormwater Compliance Specialist I to manage the Division Stormwater Management Program in line with federal, state, and local stormwater regulations.

The role emphasizes regulatory permit applications, coordination with regulators, and supervision of third‑party contractors. The ideal candidate has a GED or higher, 1+ year stormwater experience, a valid driver’s license, and may pursue one of several national stormwater certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years stormwater related experience.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Possess or obtain within one year of employment at least one national stormwater certification.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater regulatory permit applications.
• Manage the Division Stormwater Management Program in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal teams including Division President and regional managers.
• Communicate with and supervise third‑party contractors for NPDES compliance.
• Review responses to regulatory inquiries and support enforcement actions.
