D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Field Stormwater Compliance Representative to oversee NPDES compliance across multiple developments. The role requires coordinating with environmental teams, contractors, and internal departments to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a HS diploma, obtain stormwater certifications within a year, and possess strong communication skills. Travel and occasional overtime are expected as part of the field duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification under the DHI Advanced Stormwater Training Program within six months of employment.
• Possess or obtain within one year two of: QSM, USEPA Stormwater Certification, or state stormwater training/certification.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective on-going division NPDES management program in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Administer revisions to the Division NPDES Program as required by regulations and practices.
• Coordinate with third-party environmental contractors for stormwater NPDES compliance.
• Communicate with management regarding regulatory agency concerns.
• Conduct QA audits of design and field practices and direct corrective actions.
• Develop or review SWPPPs to ensure compliance for the division.
• Assist in training division personnel on NPDES and related requirements.
• Conduct business professionally to serve customers and company interests.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel overnight.
