D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Division Stormwater Compliance Specialist I to manage the Division Stormwater Management Program and ensure compliance with NPDES and related regulations.

The role involves coordinating with corporate and regional teams, communicating with regulators, and supervising contractors to meet program objectives. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year stormwater experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of stormwater related experience required.
• Must have vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Within one year, obtain CPESC, CESSWI, CPSWQ, or CISEC certification.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow written or DRH instructions.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to outside weather and noise in construction areas.

Responsibilities

• Sign and submit stormwater regulatory permit applications.
• Manage Division Stormwater Program per standards and regulations.
• Develop and revise the program per regulatory changes.
• Supervise third-party contractors for NPDES compliance.
• Coordinate with regulators and internal teams on inspections.
• Conduct inspections and quality assurance audits.
• Provide training on stormwater compliance to division staff.
• Travel and occasional weekend work as needed.
