You will assist with month-end close, asset and lease accounting, tax compliance, and audits, using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, along with strong time-management and multi-tasking abilities.

What You'll Actually Do

• Account Reconciliation: Record journal entries and prepare account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end closing, prepare financial reporting, and conduct variance analysis.
• Asset & Lease Management: Maintain the bank's fixed asset accounting, including recording new assets and depreciation, and manage lease accounting from initiation to supporting schedules.
• Compliance & Tax: Prepare assigned quarterly Call Report schedules, complete annual RPIE, and handle monthly sales tax and quarterly commercial rent tax returns.
• Audit & Support: Support internal and external audits by providing various financial information and analysis, aiding in problem resolution.

The Must-Haves

• Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, suitable for an entry-level professional with foundational knowledge of financial accounting principles and concepts.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required for this role.
• Skills: Ability to set and meet deadlines, strong capability to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and knowledge in data mining, analysis, and reporting.
