Thompson Hotels, Inc. Savannah is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to contribute to a luxury lifestyle experience.

The role requires passion for exceptional hotel service and the ability to support culinary leadership in their absence, with a focus on training and basic cost control, communication, leadership, and computer skills. Responsibilities include supervising hourly cooks, monitoring payroll costs, using culinary department tools, and tracking waste daily, with shifts 5 days per week including

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to stand for long periods
• 2 years previous culinary experience required, preferably in a hotel
• Shifts vary, 5 days per week including weekends and holidays

Responsabilités

• Assist and supervise hourly cooks.
• Assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime.
• Utilize the culinary dept administrative tools to ensure efficient and appropriate preparation of product.
• Assist Sous chefs in logging and tracking waste daily.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.
