Job summary

SSA Group seeks a Jr Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. You will support daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and mentor junior staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences across our cultural attraction partnerships.

You will manage prep, assist in staffing, and uphold HACCP practices while coordinating with the Sous Chef and Operations Manager to maintain smooth service and strong guest relations.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Proven leadership in a fast-paced culinary environment.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform SSA EXTRA guest service steps to ensure memorable experiences.
• Ensure kitchen is prepped and staffed for daily operation (BOH).
• Oversee kitchen duties for quick service, safety, quality and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain safety logs, temperatures, rotation and waste control.
• Supervise uniform hygiene and glove use; support safety training.
• Create daily prep lists and delegate tasks to staff.
• Respond to guest feedback and coordinate with operations manager.
