Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer, an early-career technical sales role focused on AI-powered customer experience and consultative selling. You will support discovery, product demos, and technical sales activities alongside Account Executives and Solutions Engineers.

You will learn Talkdesk solutions, including the AI Platform and cloud contact center technology, while collaborating across product, engineering, and customer success to drive measurable outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, data, or related field.
Strong interest in technology, SaaS, artificial intelligence, cloud software and CX.
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain ideas clearly to different audiences.
Strong presentation skills or a desire to develop them.
High level of curiosity, coachability, initiative and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with Solutions Engineers and Account Executives to support discovery, product demos and technical sales activities.
Learn customer business challenges, contact center operations, environments and transformation goals.
Assist in preparing and delivering product demonstrations showing Talkdesk value.
Support creation of customer demos and use cases with presentations and documentation.
Document customer requirements, objectives, technical considerations and next steps.
Develop knowledge of Talkdesk solutions including AI Platform and cloud contact center tech.
