KBR Mission Technology Solutions seeks a Jr. Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, maintain, and test software for scientific and engineering applications supporting DoD, intelligence, and NASA missions.

Applicants should have an active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain CI polygraph) and a BA/BS in CS or Software Engineering (or AA with related experience). The role requires 0–3 years of related experience and offers location-based compensation.

Competenze

Active TS/SCI clearance required or ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
Experience in software development for scientific/engineering applications preferred.
Strong testing, debugging and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field (or AA with experience) required.

Mansioni

Create prototypes and perform internal testing of software products.
Respond to software discrepancies against documented requirements and provide resolution.
Determine software maintainability and adherence to user requirements.
Generate program design language and code based on mission standards.
Generate/update project documents.
Collaborate with engineers in design, development, and utilization of software systems.
Provide analysis related to design, development, and implementation of software for products.
