Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors Software Department, onsite in the US. You will design, develop, test, and release real-time software for radar and C2 programs, and work in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.

Ideal candidates have a solid foundation in software design, eager to learn, and are eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. You will join a team delivering high-quality deployments and maintaining safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Experience developing software with C, C++, Java, or Ada.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time application software.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established development practices to maintain software configuration management.
• Work on an agile team developing software for the MDS programs.
