RTX in Woburn, MA is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Missile Defense Sensors Software team, onsite at 235 Presidential Way. You will design, develop, test and release real-time software for radar and C2 programs, operating in an Agile/DevSecOps environment. The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree and has experience in C/C++, Java or Ada, with the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Experience developing software with C, C++, Java, or Ada.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, memory management and multithreaded applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time application software and tools.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Work on an agile team delivering software for Missile Defense Sensors programs.
• Follow established development practices and maintain software configuration management.
• Collaborate with teammates to develop creative solutions for complex technical problems.
