Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will develop, test, and deploy software in an Agile team, under guidance from senior engineers, and progressively own software components.

This role emphasizes learning, security, and contributing to a national security mission. Location options include multiple sites; Top Secret/SCI with polygraph is required.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 2–4 years of experience or a Master’s with <2 years of experience.

Mansioni

• Develop, modify, test, and deploy software solutions that support the GEOINT mission under guidance of senior engineers.
• Implement features based on requirements and designs; write clean, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from seniors; develop and run unit/integration tests.
• Support integration of components and services; work with REST APIs and databases.
• Participate in Agile sprints, stand-ups, planning and retrospectives; collaborate with users and product managers.
• Use Git and CI/CD processes; maintain documentation and artifacts; support deployment and sustainment.
• Build secure, containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS; adhere to security standards.
