Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will own features from design through deployment, build scalable services, and contribute to DevSecOps and modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include API development, QA, code reviews, and collaboration with test engineering to ensure acceptance criteria. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for the role at multiple locations including Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• 4–8 years of relevant software engineering experience, or a Master’s with fewer years.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering software.
• Experience with CI/CD and agile collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain software for GEOINT mission.
• Translate requirements into software solutions and APIs.
• Implement moderately complex features independently.
• Develop scalable and secure components; implement tests.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate in CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.
