Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will develop, test, and deploy software under senior guidance, working in an Agile team to deliver secure, containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Position may be performed in multiple locations; US citizenship is required and Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph is needed. Pay range is substantial, reflecting mission-critical work.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience; Master’s with <2 years accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test, and deploy software to support GEOINT mission under guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
• Work with REST APIs, databases, and services.
• Contribute in Agile sprints and daily stand-ups.
• Use Git and CI/CD processes to manage delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.
