Laborie Medical Technologies Corp in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our R&D team. You will support design, development, testing, and maintenance of medical device software under guidance from senior engineers, contributing to quality systems and regulatory adherence.

You will participate in coding, debugging, unit testing, documentation, and code reviews while building technical expertise in a collaborative environment that values quality and compliance with our QMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/CE or related field required, 0-2 years experience or equivalent.
• Experience with at least one modern OO language (C#, C++, or Java) through coursework or work.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and version control systems (Git, TFS or similar).
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and software engineering principles.
• Exposure to databases (SQL Server), .NET frameworks, and OO design concepts preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the design, implementation, and verification of software components under guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in coding, debugging, testing, and documentation activities.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and test engineers to understand requirements and contribute to solutions.
• Create and maintain software development documentation compliant with QMS and standards.
• Develop and execute unit tests and participate in code reviews.
