Job summary

Laborie Medical Technologies Corp in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the full software lifecycle for medical devices, from concept through product launch. You will lead design, development, testing and integration, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet quality and regulatory standards.

You will apply OO design, .NET technologies, and modern testing practices under IEC 62304, contribute to system software architecture, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development for medical devices
• Experience with IEC 62304 compliant environments and automated testing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system software from concept to product launch
• Mentor junior software engineers and train team members
• Collaborate across software, systems engineering, operations and R&D groups
• Create software design and development artifacts compliant with Laborie QMS and ISO standards
• Develop test methods, unit tests and automated test scripts with the Test team
• Estimate progress and report status of assigned projects
