Job summary

Early Warning is seeking an entry- to early-career Site Reliability Engineer I to improve the reliability and observability of production services. You will work with software engineering teams to automate operations and enhance service health throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes building breadth, learning from more experienced engineers, and contributing to reusable patterns and automation. The hybrid work model supports collaboration and growth within a leading payments technology

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software/systems engineering or SRE.
• Experience with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and observability.
• Bachelor-level technical degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability, observability, and operational health of production services.
• Define and improve SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and service-health metrics.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or related field
