A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site and Infrastructure team in Herndon, VA or Rockville, MD. This role offers a hybrid (office/remote) schedule and opportunities for career growth on challenging projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• 0-5 years experience.
• Technical proficiency in AutoCAD including Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to assist on preparation of engineering studies and reports.
• EIT preferred.
• Prior Internship experience with preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site layout, and preparation of calculations and reports.
• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Processing construction and permit documents through the regulatory agencies.
• Construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.
