Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site and Infrastructure team in Rockville, MD or Herndon, VA. The role offers a hybrid (office and remote) schedule and opportunities to grow within a growing firm.

You will design site improvements, support construction documents, and coordinate with regulatory agencies, with mentorship for career advancement in a collaborative ESOP environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• EIT preferred.
• Internship experience with plans, specifications and cost estimates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site layout, and preparation of calculations and reports.
• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Processing construction and permit documents through the regulatory agencies.
• Construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.
