Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking an entry level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site and Infrastructure team in Herndon, VA or Rockville, MD. The role offers an excellent work-life balance and a hybrid schedule combining office and remote work.

You will design site improvements, support construction documents, and coordinate with regulatory agencies. A BS in Civil Engineering and 0–5 years' experience are required; EIT is preferred and internship experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 0–5 years experience in site/civil engineering.
• Technical proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Internship experience with plans, specs, and cost estimates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design of site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, site layout, and preparation of calculations and reports.
• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Processing construction and permit documents through regulatory agencies.
• Construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.
