A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking an Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our Site and Infrastructure team in Rockville, MD or Herndon, VA.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects, gain experience, and advance in a growing ESOP firm with a strong emphasis on integrity and teamwork. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a hybrid schedule combining office and remote work.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to assist in preparing engineering studies and reports.
• EIT is preferred.
• Prior internship experience with plans, specs, and cost estimates is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design site and infrastructure improvements including grading, utilities, erosion control, stormwater management, and site layout; prepare calculations and reports.
• Support and preparation of construction documents.
• Process construction and permit documents through regulatory agencies.
• Provide construction support services including site inspections and construction administration duties.

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is growing and is seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Site / Civil Engineer to join our growing Site and Infrastructure team of design professionals in our Rockville, MD or Herndon, VA office.

In addition to supporting projects in the assigned office, the candidate may be involved with other AMT offices and project opportunities.

Responsibilities
