Job summary

SOCOTEC US is seeking a Junior Scheduler / Project Controls Consultant to support construction scheduling and project controls across building and infrastructure projects. You will work with senior schedulers, project managers, and technical experts to develop and maintain CPM schedules.

The role targets early-career professionals with ~2 years of experience who want to expand capabilities in schedule analysis, change impact assessment, and construction advisory, in a hybrid work setting with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Approximately 2 or more years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Practical experience developing or maintaining construction schedules.
• Understanding of CPM scheduling principles and project sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, review, and maintenance of detailed construction project schedules.
• Develop and update CPM schedules based on scope and plans.
• Support baseline schedules, schedule updates, recovery schedules, and short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Review contractor schedule submissions for completeness, logic, sequencing, and durations.
• Monitor progress and incorporate actual progress into schedule updates.
• Identify critical activities, constraints, and impacts to milestones.
• Assist with delay analyses and changes to the critical path.
• Prepare schedule narratives, progress reports, and management presentations.
• Support schedule impact assessments and change orders.
