Job summary

TriNet seeks an Associate Sales Consultant to launch a career in sales. This Emerging Talent program offers hands-on exposure while learning from experienced leaders. You’ll support Sales Consultants, research potential clients, and help craft presentations and proposals.

You’ll gain coaching in client engagement, sales strategy, and prospecting, with pathways to advanced sales roles and potential relocation opportunities over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Open to candidates at all experience levels, including recent graduates.
• Internship, customer-facing roles or business exposure is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of TriNet’s products and value for SMBs.
• Support Sales Consultants through the sales process and client follow-up.
• Conduct account and market research to identify potential clients and needs.
• Assist with preparing customized presentations, proposals, and client materials.
• Participate in sales meetings and coordinate meetings using Outlook/Teams.
• Build confidence communicating with business leaders and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with timely updates.
