Job summary

Tyson Foods in United States is seeking a starter position in the Refrigeration Department to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on ammonia refrigeration air units, HVAC/MAUs, and roof areas. The role includes creating maintenance notifications, work orders, and logging time in SAP, with training shadowing Refrigeration Techs for ammonia systems.

The candidate will rotate shifts, work 6 days a week with potential overtime, and must pass annual physicals and trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in hot/cold/wet environments.
• Requires pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs and climbing ladders above 10 feet.
• One year of maintenance experience within the last two years.
• Must be clean shaven to fit with APR/SCBA equipment.
• Must be a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning/washing Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC /MAUs units on the roof.
• Changing filters and cleaning roof area.
• Shadowing Refrigeration Techs for training in the ammonia refrigeration system.
• Creating Maintenance Notifications, work orders, and confirming time into the SAP system.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
