Job summary

Tyson Foods in Forest, MS, is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance starter for the 3rd shift. You will clean ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs, change filters, and shadow Refrigeration Techs for training. You’ll create maintenance notifications, submit work orders, and log time in SAP.

Willingness to work in demanding environments and overtime is required. Only candidates with basic maintenance experience in the past two years and the ability to pass a physical and safety tests will

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.
• Able to work in hot/cold/wet environments.
• Must be able to push, pull or lift over 40 lbs and climb ladders above 10 feet.
• Pass a Level 4 pulmonary function test and annual recertification.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning/washing of Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs on the roof.
• Change filters and clean roof area; shadow Refrigeration Techs for training.
• Create Maintenance Notifications and work orders; log time into SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
