Job summary

Rock Solid Janitorial, Inc. is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support the hiring process. You will work closely with the Director of HR & Administration & Operations to fill positions with qualified candidates and help manage interviews and onboarding.

This full-time, hourly role requires travel to recruit and onboard new hires. A 2-year college degree or equivalent is preferred, with knowledge of federal and Virginia labor laws, and proficiency in Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of HR experience preferred.
• Creative writing and strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Federal and Virginia labor laws.
• Excellent communicator and writer.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview applicants to fill vacancies.
• Onboard new hires and ensure paperwork is completed.
• Research platforms beyond standard job boards to find candidates.
• Write and post employment ads on job boards and recruiting sites.
• Review, screen, and process applications, resumes and documents.
• Coordinate background checks for employees.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with additional projects as assigned.
• All documents are property of Rock Solid Janitorial, Inc.
• Travel is required to recruit and onboard new hires.
