Job summary

Talently is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Engineer in Los Angeles to support engineering, construction, and capital projects across the full project lifecycle. The role offers hands‑on exposure to planning, budgeting, execution, commissioning, and closeout.

You will work alongside senior project leadership, develop practical management skills, and contribute to improvements across manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial or manufacturing).
• Professional experience supporting engineering, construction, facilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, or capital projects.
• Understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgets, milestones, and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and construction documents.
• Experience coordinating with engineers, contractors, vendors, suppliers or stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work onsite in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, construction, facility improvement, expansion and capital projects from scope through closeout.
• Develop and track project scopes, budgets, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities, monitor progress, flag risks, delays, and variances.
